About Our Qualified Instructor
Marija Bubanj
Violin and Viola performances have taken her from prominent European stages to various Chicago venues. Ms. Bubanj has kept on pursuing her interests and sharing her passions with her students. Many of her chamber and orchestra performances and recordings include concerts in Serbia, Austria, Rome Chamber Music Festival, the Chicago Cultural.
She performed with world-class musicians Classical and Jazz music genres.at:
- Lifeline charity events under the patronage of HRH Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia
- WFMT 98.7 FM live radio broadcast in 2005 with EDU Piano Quintet
- Indianapolis Christmas Ball 2005
Her teaching philosophy is based on a belief in the positive impact of music. It can influence a child’s intellect, academics, creativity, social skills, and self-esteem more than any other life pursuit. Therefore Ms. Bubanj believes that every student has a unique talent. Because of that, it is the teacher’s role to provide high-quality music instruction. Consequently, students can explore all their musical growth.
In other words, we offer instruction with love and patience that incorporates different learning styles. Our classes are based on a balanced posture, efficient practice habits, and listening to the great performers.
Ms. Bubanj has been a certified Suzuki teacher since 1999. Her students play violin and viola. They have won major prizes, competitions, orchestra auditions, and prestigious music colleges. Most of them were selected to perform at a special event organized by Michelle Obama at the White House in November of 2016.
In addition, she is honored of a composition written for her, a string quartet Ariel, composed by internationally acclaimed composer Kim Diehnelt.
We provide both, group and private lessons in-home, online, or at Fine Arts Building. Most importantly, our classes are age-appropriate depending on whether they are for children or adults. Therefore, all of our students will have a chance to be part of the Recitals and Special Events we organize after the finished semester.
